Aston just came out with a new model to compete with the Porsche and Vette. It's priced at about $110K. Mine is an older 1979 model. I have a few friends in Germany that goes nuts everytime they see a Vette. Their reputation in Europe has really skyrocketed in the last few years. They are a good deal for what you get.

That is great. I'm looking for some aftermarket handling packages/kits. There are a couple around, mostly by the Brits. I looking for coils, shocks, anti sway bars. Got any ideas of who to contact?

It has the original Koni's on it right now. I think it's time to change them. LOL I'm trying to get a whole new setup, springs, shocks, sway, etc. I will probably get Koni's again. They are the best and that's why Aston used them.:D

Oscar, I just got a quote for some shocks and I'm, well, shocked! Koni front = 190GBP ($339) each Rear shocks are 105 GBP ($187)each,

Come on guys they must be cheaper here in the US from a non Aston Martin dealer. Let me know if you have a place to get them. Maybe it's just me, but, those prices seem high.

It is crazy who these guys jack up the price for the same item. I'm trying to get the Koni part number for them. That is one reason that some places do not give manufacturer's part numbers. They do not want people shopping around. Same with watches.

Great news guys I found the last set of Konis in the US for my car. Aston MArtin got in a big fight with Koni. They did not want Koni to sell Astom Martin shocks to the public. The SOB's want them to be sold by, you guessed it, AM dealers for 3 times the money. Koni gave me one of their dealers who happened to have a few in inventory. I got a 25% discount to boot.

Oscar, if I were just a little bit crazier I would get AM's 580x kit and rejet the carbs. I would have 500 plus HP, but, it would never keep up with your ride. My car weighs in at 5000 pounds. I really don't need to be tooling down the road at 170mph in a frieght train. LOL I'm going to keep mine stock. I love fast cars, though. It's not really a car unless you can up to 150, at least. LOL

We are all nuts.

I HAVE been working to unseat the pennsyltucky legislators.  so far it seems to be working.  maybe you have not seen that they voted themselves a 54% raise making them the most expensive legislature in the usa.  we got the raise repealed almost.  but they still must all go.  the revolution in pa is just beginning and may spread throughout the usa.  we are about to throw apples and coal over ships in the delaware, hehehehe.  oh well at least there is some good things happening.
