Hi all Have a look at: http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=186197 and http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=186179 and http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=186150 and http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=186197 for pics of the Ocean7 LM-7. It is a series of pics of the prototype build but at least it shows the case, dial and config. Let's not get into the debate about homages versus originals, that is not what this is about. I paid my deposit, waited patiently for about 12 months and this is what they will be sending me. Deliveries start next month. Hope y'all enjoy the pics. Cheers - IanM hand6.gif

It's a tank! It looks just great hand6.gif What I like about OCEAN 7 watches is that the dials are always clean and uncluttered. How much did you pay for it? I see different prices: $879, $1299,...

Hi Zarith Discussion of prices goes to your PM. It is not a limited edition. There is also a PVD version coming. As soon as the pre-orders are shipped I imagine there will be as many available as there are people who want them. It certainly is a tank - and the comparo shot showing the difference in sizes between the O7 models is very helpful. Have a good day! IanM

Hey Ian, I'm right there with you. I have a pre-order in too and have been patiently waiting for this one. From the looks of the latest photos it was completely worth the wait. I've been following the latest news and photos on this one over on WUS and I am really anticipating it's arrival. The lume on this looks insane! I'm very happy with what I see in the photos. Ditto Demo - after all this time it looks like the wait has been worthwhile. Mine will be going straight onto 24mm Omega mesh and staying there... Good luck with yours, Demo - mine is #111 (just a quirky number I picked) and will take a bit longer than the first batch of 100. I understand yours is a very low serial # - so, here or on PM - I would look forward to your spectacular pics and your initial impressions. This one looks like it will satisfy people's need for a Ploprof homage pretty well... nice one! Cheers, mate! IanM hand6.gif

You're right, Pax. I expect the deadline will go South like all the other deadlines on this project so far. It will be a Christmas present to myself anyways, so I am in no rush. I stopped jumping up and down with joy about 6 months ago. I have had no experience with Ocean7 prior to ordering the LM-7. I was disappointed that, apart from some really nice CAD drawings, all I have seen in about 12 months has been a rough prototype case. With the linked pics, at least now we all know what a finished case looks like, and the general interaction of the design elements. Without making too much of a fuss about what is the right or the wrong thing to do to your prospective buyers - let's just say that the past could have been better, but I am genuinely loking forward to getting the watch. Whenever... :? Cheers! Ian hand6.gif

Love the color of the dial and the orange hand really does "pop" I know it has a long wait but it looks like the wait should be well worth it.

Blast resistance = just a bit less than an ICBM. Or my ex-girlfriend on an "angry day" :D WR = 1000m rated (from memory). I am pretty sure it will survive me taking it into the shower, or the odd squirt with water when washing the car. Damn - I might even immerse it in a bucket and see if I can take it to its limits... It is tough being a desk diver... Cheers all! Ian hand6.gif
