true we do talk a lot about Dive watches! :D...I think it's time we added a dedicated dive watch forum as well as a few other types of specific forums and this is a good place to hear what the members would like to see on 3T to add to their enjoyment as we seem to have a great variety of WIS joining who may specialize in collecting certain types of watches as well as brands! they are open Skip!

...as the 3T team already knows we have plans to move to a larger server for some well needed space and along with that a complete redesign of the forum so that your experience here on 3T is not only easier to navigate but more enjoyable by offering more for the members in ways of drawings,photo and essay competitions as well as more vendor participation in the way of specials and discounts for members ....and by essay I mean not all of us are photo inclined and telling a story of a fond experience with a watch from a loved one or just your favorite watch will provide an opportunity for all of 3Ts members to have some fun and win some great prizes!...watches are more than just a mere time keeping instrument to us...it is a way of expressing ourselves and an avenue to connect with others who share this timely interest!hand6.gif

Your contributions to 3T as members have been greatly appreciated and it's about time WIS are rewarded for their participation for if not for the members there would be no forum! Thank You all for making 3T not only a friendly community of WIS from around the world but also for making it a knowledgable watch forum for WIS of all levels of the hobby! ...stay tuned for the changes and by all means let's here your ideas on how to make 3T your home for not only watch talk but for general conversation ...a place to relax and forget about day to day life and turn it into memorable minutes that turn into years.thankyou.gif

I believe a dedicated "Dive Watch" forum sounds like an outstanding idea!  hand6.gifhand6.gif  I'm not going into more detail because it has already been said.  Thanks 3T Staff for listening to the members and making 3T even more enjoyable.

Oscar and other staffers

Maybe it's time to add my 2 cents worth.

I know this is essentially a dive watch forum, but I think I speak on behalf of a lot of members who actually don't experience it as such!  Personally, I am a member of a number of other fora, but I increasingly think of 3T as my horological home!  Although I own some divers, my particular interest lies with chronographs.  I have never felt unwelcome when posting anything about chronos, or any other non-diver for that matter.  I have always enjoyed the courteous, friendly environment offered on this forum.  I have actually been offended by the conduct of members on a number of other fora - not on a personal level, but simply thinking "hey, that could have been me posting that" when people are flamed and ridiculed unnecessarily.  None of that here!

What I am trying to say is:  Thanks for offering this pleasant environment to watch lovers in general;

By all means, expand the facilities to cover as many bases as are practical.  Most of us are not limited to one or two styles of watches, and I would prefer to interact with familiar people rather than join another forum simply because 3T does not cater for the particular style of watch which I have acquired.

To all who have been involved with 3T: thankyou.gif

I echo all that Graham said. While I too join other fora, I am there on stealth and lurk mode only. I like 3T because we are all gentlemen here and the banter and jokes  I read are just great and in very good taste. I have also made many friends from all parts of the world through 3T, and that's just marvelous!hand6.gif

3T is also like National Geographic Magazine where a picture says a thousand words. For sure many of you will recall that there are more pages of pictures than pages of words/text in EACH NG magazine. I like 3T because of the picture posts, and this differentiates us, and I hope that if we add a sub-forum on dive watches, we sustain that push and differentiation ----lots of pictures.

I have been a desk diver for so long that it I think it would be immensely beneficial if we structure the dive forum appropriately and once again, differentiated from other fora. If we can get a few well-selected sponsors to complement and round out our watch sponsors, I think that would yield symbiotic gains for all.:)
