I understand that you should collect what you like , but as well 1 must be proud of his collection @ the same time & now I fear the heckeling that I shall recieve for collecting S**t pieces as it has come out in the end..  live & learn RIGHT...Well I still have some great pieces since I woke uphammer.gif.......william

Yes I have an Invicta and I got mad about this but taking a step back, yes they have taken the pi** a lot but for people left with a time piece by Invicta let us not insult it too much, we know that buying one in the future is not an option but some of us have watches we like but by a brand name that has let us down.
Mark pointed out to me that I should not let them get me down over a good priced Diver I own and use it still and he is right, it works and I like it...although I would not buy one again its been loyal and deserves respect for surviving with all the corners I guess were cut to make it.

I am not mad just disappointed. subtlelaugh.gif

No worries William....my point wasn't to bash you, my point was there has been nothing said in 5 days.

And you are right there are a lot of people that have been there a long time that are showing their frustration with this...the interesting thing is there is nothing from the JS worshipers

Yeah William! You saved my day: let's buy an Invicta!subtlelaugh.gif
Honnestly:
#1: Did they test-try any watch and it's reliability when making the first prototype mounted with module DD??? Doesn't look like it...

#2: If they was so sure of them self about assembly, that they didn't put any watch on the test-bench: What kind of sorry asses are working in them "Swiss" workshop? Guys who never mounted any DD module in them life and don't know the thickness's standards on dials sitting on those modules???

#3: If there is a dial problem: This problem is common to all Invicta watches made in this serial. Then, why don't they allready stipulate that they will retreive every single watch faltly made to replace the dials at no cost? Are they hoping that some dials work out to save some client-service???

#4: What kind of factory stand behind the fabrication of those funky dials and who mounted them? Because I put all those crabs in the same bucket: As wannabe professionals taking contracts who stands way over them technical and knowledge's capacities. If they are Swiss and reputated factories: How did this happen??? Maybe they just never been Swiss....Will Invicta ever say them name?

#5: Will they ever make some public excuses to DD after accusing them falsly and publicly to have produce defectuous modules??? If they should do so: The earlyest would have been the smartest. In them last post for exemple: Instead of defending them own nest...

You are forgiven William: At list, you stand out and say it... I guess that many would never dare, in fear to loose them face.

Listen William I know I got all over you and I didn't know where you were coming from after posting those Renatos here at 3T where we are known to really dislike that brand a whole lot. I figured you were another goober come to try and stir the pot over here so I gave it to you. We are and always have been the forum the others love to hate yet for some reason you have to visit.homerthinks.gif I'm glad to see you are off the kool-aid and hope others will also put their cups down and move up and on.

I gotta say I put Renatos in the same ilk as Invicta except for the fact they don't make a spectacular inexpensive (cheap) watch. I'll continue to contend Invicta can produce a good inexpensive watch. I really think they have ost sight of this and aspire to be something they are not and will never be. Let's face it; if you throw down some cash you can get some really fantastic and interesting watches from true Swiss manufacturers of any number of boutique brands. Invicta should keep churning out inexpensive pieces with funky designs... say like android... and may be this would be a good niche for them. Instead they aspire to make 55mm+ Reserve Special Edition BS good folk are led to believe are really to pinnacle in watch making and design. They suck you dry on value pays and leave you with a hardly re-saleable POS.

Hopefully this incident will shake a few more off the tree and they can find the true joy of watch collecting.

PEACE!

I'm definitely NOT a pot stirrer @ all but not a coward @ ALL either.            I think Invicter has gotten way to big to fast & may have forgotten where they come from .I blame shop & Jim for this ,the reach the TV has is amazing then you have their infamous moth piece spouting " this is the last chance you have to get one ,get on the phone right now or your gonna miss out on the deal" then 1 month later you see the same piece being hawked @ a fraction of the price which in my eyes is the true price.Invicta has made some great pieces in the past but that is NO MORE I BELIEVE..As far as the R brand you dislike so much I have had nothing but top notch service from D.M. & I know Im getting a TV brand w/ them but they have some great pieces in my opinion, do they compare to some of the other brands I have NO but I still like the ones I do have ., but since their is such a dislike for them I will not post them here . I think the new stuff being produced by I is crappy compared to R.....I can only hope that some of my friends over their will come to see the light as I have done..  Thanks Mark for realizing I'm not the goober you may have thought I was cuz IM NOT......................Williamthumbsup.gif
