I think it is Belmar or Belmer watches. I was asked to look at one in the pub last night and it did not sit right with me. Swiss Mov't on the back but stamped Geneva, surely that would be Swiss Made. Anyway I didn't like it and it smelt fishy to me. They got it at auction for 250 and its RRP was about 2000+ and this seem odd or some kind of scam.
Your input please 3T

well....much like Balmer they claim to be Swiss made with a ridiculous high price to get you into believing they are something they are not and can be had for a fraction of the MSRP....here is a link to a thread on TZ-UK...

Yea the Balmers are nice but the prices almost make me gag. Many of us bought Balmers off a shopping channel a few years ago dirt cheep. I got this one for $139.

Thanks for the info, I have looked at some of those sites before posting but all are vague. To be honest I didn't like the look of it at all. Not my cup of tea.

Yes, I saw those Balmer around...Been searching a while ago and just found out what they claim: To be Swiss made. Are they really? Because they seems to have the Bernoulli syndrome...
2500$ price tag, selling all-over the Bay for 200...

I know some of the older Balmers are Swiss but not sure about those after 2007. Mine is Swiss Made. And is a Swiss Eta 2824.

I bought this Balmer a few years ago direct from the distributor ...it's the Swiss Made/eta 2824 Galaxy w/18K bezel and diamond markers but I paid no where near the $3900.MSRP ...a well made dress watch that has a sweet etched case and comfortable stamped beads of rice bracelet.ThumbsUp02.gif

Good looking Oscar but too dressy for me: I also avoid gold colors usualy, but it's my taste...
I wear only silver in jewels.
Seems like the finish is still well done on this model
