I know that we have a number of Doxa fans here...just saw that Doxa has posted up this dial of the up-and-coming New 10 Year Anniversary Doxa Sub (marked Sub 4000T below). This dial follows the classic design of past Subs (which I really like), but I'm hearing that the case will leverage more of the 5000T design. No word on whether the gauge at 7 o'clock is a "power reserve" indicator or a "depth gauge" of some kind. hmmmm... Thought you guys would be interested. ![]()

These are the basic dimensions posted by Doxa for this new model...and Doxa is saying this will be a model "addition" and not a replacement of an existing model from the Doxa lineup. ...and it seems the movement according to Doxa is the ETA 2897, so it looks like the indicator at 7 o'clock is indeed a power reserve. Not sure what I think about a power reserve indicator labeled "safe dive"...seems a bit gimmicky [QUOTE=DOXA Forum Administrator 1;3381245]Ladies and Gentlemen, The DOXA elves have finalized the case dimensions on the much anticipated 10 anniversary edition SUB. Diameter 47.00mm including crown protection, which is now an integral part of the case. The diameter excluding the crown protection is 44.00mm. Lug width 22.00mm. Lug to lug 48.00mm. Height 16.00mm. Bezel diameter 40.80mm. Crown diameter 6.50mm. We will update you again as soon as the other details are finalized ![]() DOXA S.A.

very cool imo and if it is the eta 2897 being used then that indicator will be a power reserve for sure...I'm waiting to see the new case design...![]()

Agree Oscar...based on the hints that Doxa is dropping regarding the new case design, it sounds like they are striving for something "different"...Doxa states a "totally new case & bracelet design". Doxa has stated the dial diameter will be larger than the typical Doxa relative to the case...the "most visible dial since 1967" to quote Doxa. Like you, I'm very anxious to see the new case & bracelet for this one. ![]()
