you don't need to look much further than brands within the Swatch Group,but no matter where you look it will more than likely be the brand that garners the price and not the movement per say imho...but there are many expensive watches using an eta 2824,either in it's original form,which can be base,elabore,top or COSC,or as a kit in which it can be modified with complications....cost can be influenced by the above grades,including, case material,type of SS,Ti,platinum, 18k gold,diamonds,and other gems.....as well as degree of decoration...here is 1 example of the more elaborate and expensive kind,upwards of $80,000.: http://www.ninanet.net/watches/others05/Mediums/mklaauw.html
