So I came across this over at another forum and was suspicious. I sent the link to Oscar for his opinion and he gave me the go ahead to post it up for discussion. So here it is and discuss away.....

I Love the Tudor Sub's and especially the snowflake dials, but that blue just looks too bright to me.

there's about a half dozen things not right on this watch...1st and most obvious is the movement.Tudor uses eta movements but they are reworked, and they don't use the Incabloc shock system like on this one, they use a KIF shock shock system(balance wheel is also wrong)...here is a link to Tudor submariners, and if you scroll down to the end of the 1st page you will see the movement that should be in this watch, eta 2784...

Not an expert AT ALL, but just by comparing pictures to link provided by Oscar (and other photos I could find on the web), the blue color is too "bright" blue, should be a darker blue, the crown on the WUS one is to long, the original one has a shorter crown, as do all other Tudors I have seen, and the lume pip on the bezel is also completely wrong, at least according to pictures I have compared. And also the lume has the wrong color (could of course be patina, but also "easy" to make if dial is slightly cooked in an oven for a couple of minutes (sounds crazy, but a guy on a norwegian forum that does this to speed up patina on lume ...and looks just like this one))

And hard to argue with Oscars point about the movement ...

So if it looks like a duck and talks like a duck, well, it`s probably a duck.

I for one would save my hard earned money.

the fact that it is still FS is testament to it's originality...if it were genuine, the Rolie experts would have scarfed it up in minutes at that price, and we would have been upset because we didn't see it 1st! dog smile.gif

I am in no way an expert...but I have been shopping the web long enough and looking an comparing prices on all brands, even the ones I currently hope to own Like Tudor, to know this price is BS low to begin with... That said, I would also question this guys number of posts, to show up with a high end steal of a deal out of nowhere..

Very valid points Oscar. I for one am not as educated about movements as I should be.

Real Tudor movement

Movement: ETA cal. 2784, Swiss, notice the Kif shock system.

everything about that was wrong, wasn't even a good attempt at a snowflake!
