Yeah, they're quite pricey, but cool looking.  Especially the yellow dial.  I'd love to add one to my Orient collection, but not for a grand.

Have you seen the King Master divers?  Much more reasonable, and pretty cool looking.  I love the markers at 12, 6 and 9 :)

King Master 100m Divers info:

  • Orient models WZ0231ER (black bezel),  WZ0241ER (black/red bezel) and WZ0251ER (white dial.)
  • Japan only models, not available through US distributors (yet.)
  • 100m water resistant
  • mineral crystal
  • Automatic movement, no hacking or hand winding
  • 41mm approximate diameter
  • Screw down crown
  • Bracelet: solid link with hollow end links
I requested a quote from Higuchi on the white dial.  $275.00 delivered from him.  It's on my list, but I don't own one and haven't ordered one yet.

Dan:)

I believe the Yellow Dial Orient is in the $500 to $600 range........................I much prefer the Orient Beast or the King masters!

Not bad!

But I think the ZODIAC diver which it is around that price, is more worth it with an ETA movt, sapphire and SWISS MADE. Btw the ORIENT looks a little like the ZODIAC case-wise:

But still both can't beat the juice out of the REAL LEMON:
