Had the cat scan, only took a few mins.  Now I play the waiting game.  They said 2 days for the results.  I turned down the iodine dye, i have heard it has caused some kidney problems.  Hopefully they dont find anything serious.

That is a crappy turnaround time. Two hours in our house. Expect your PCP to break down the results. Some folks to have an allergy to the contrast but it is necessary at times and the benefits far outweigh the risks.Chest/abd/pelvis?

I know what you mean about the turnaround time Pax.  I live in a really rural area and feel lucky that we even have such equipment.  I wish they would have been able to let me know what the problem is today.  Ill be a nervous wreck till I find out.  Like I said, they checked out my chest.  If the scan doesnt turn out right I will have to have it redone and have to have the dye injected.  If I do have something serious, I will probably go to Pittsburgh for treatment.  Well, NFW for the rest of the day.
