I really like that blue dial, Tony .Today, still with my newbie, the Laco Flieger on 55mm, and also wore my Steinhart Nav B on 47mm...both on "A" dials.  Here's a size comparison of both. They are on exactly the same focus plane from the camera's lens and thus no exagerration of size. Oscar, the 55 isn't really that big  . Beside it is a spare Flieger strap which I got about 2 weeks ahead of the newbie's arrival. Here it is solo and beside it is a Flieger strap executed by SteveO in black so that I can mix and match it with my moods.
