So...as someone who has both luminor and luminor 1950's cased Panerai in your collection (I know we have several others here at 3T that are in the same boat too), do you have a clear favorite when it comes to the luminor versus luminor 1950's case style?... or would it be easy to just say, "any paneristi worth their salt would have both case types in the lineup"?.

...I guess I should post it up as a general topic too, and definitely take a trip to the local AD to try em' on for myself...sponge bob.gif

Thanks Chris--I love them ALL but I have to say the 176 & 112 Luminors r my favorites.

The 312  1950's case sandwich dial r too small of cut-outs IMO..

But & there is always a buttdog smile.gif

I love auto's as well..I'm loving this 112 Luminor the high polished case is great-but I dont understand why the crown guard is brushed it kinda sets the case off whack-WELL not really but KIND OF..So I'm torn, ah hell I LOVE EM ALL Equally

HaHa....got it loud and clear William!!! thumbsup.gif crazy.gif bamby.gif chickendance.gif

I figured that might be the answer, but I do really appreciate the insight comparing the ones in your stable. I think there are definitely things to love about both case types...no doubt I should schedule some time to visit an AD with a large selection to check them out and compare in the flesh.

Thanks again buddy!
