Well, with the arrival of the Vintage Tissot Today; arrived a Notice of Delivery Card-Since I wasn't home to recieve and Customs required The Reciever's Only Signature (along with Duty Fees of Course) I had to venture back to the Local Postal Outlet here at the Local Pharmacy before Closing.

Anyway, I have been Waiting very Patiently for this package as I still can't believe the find and sale on these (2) watches on a well known auction site.

I was browsing one late night last week as I do; Regularly Day in-and-Day out and came across a newly listed item and it must of been only posted for literaly a couple minutes. Oh how the great Watch Gods Have blessed me at that very minute.

I came across a "Buy it Now" Deal and I mean a Deal -$65.00USD. Item was a 1968 "M8" 14kt "Solid" Gold Accutron 218 Tuning Fork with Origional Gold Filled band.........and Complete with Origional Wooden Display Box, Origional Hang Tag (200.00 back in 1968 oh my) and Warranty Card/Garauntee etc...)-Well needless to say and a real no-brainer here: hit "BUY NOW" and Proceed to check out Immediate hee hee!

Well after numerous emails with lady who bought this at an estate sale as she owns an antique shop in the US, informed me that it appears literaly unused condition so I ask her when she listed it as 14kt (and she realy didn't know too much about watches I gather -Oh my hee hee) I ask her to email me the information off the back of the watch in full detail word for word so she gives me the info as I was sceptical thinking it has got to be 14kt filled or plated - but hey what the heck for 65.00!?! So as confirmed the case read 14kt gold case (not filled or plated as Accutron engraves)-well she couldn't find the 2 digit model number to date the watch; but anyway : Pack er up and ship er out!

Well after mailing back and forth as I definiteley wanted insured shipping and not regular usps standard-She asks me if I seen the OMEGA she had listed too! Well Now: back to the bay and her store and all over ebay and nothing newly listed or listed in her store so I figure it is sold Imediate on listing.  Well she mails me back immediate and verycalmly and jokingly tells me that the Omega didn't list for some strange reason!  Well as the Kindest sole on the face of this planet offers me this watch too for an extra $50.00 Usd and she will for an extra $5.00 include it in combined shipping-I didn't even see the watch and told her to send me an invoice.

Well she sends the invoice and mails me back and I ask her to send me a pic in which she does immediately and Describes the watch as "Old watch but looks like new" and tells me she thinks this one too is 14kt or something.  So now im thinking This is a serious joke right or wrong or a scam-but the lady was a power seller with over 1000 sales and almost perfect feedback so: what the hell worth a shot and if I lose out it is only 110.00 plus 20.00 shipping..............

Well I would kindly like to marry this woman where ever she is right now-GOD LOVE EVERY Bit of her!!!!

Anyway some quick shots here and more tomorrow as it is too dark in here and I am not a photographer by any meaning of the word.

Well Nice to Know I watched them remove the back of the Omega as I do not have the tool and it is a press-on back and the Movement is a cal.562 and clean and .075 Gold -Solid 18kt and not 14kt or 9 kt as thought.
