Looks good, Tony. Same movement as the Kamikaze and while does not officially hack, you can synchronize the time with a benchmark thru a calibrated pull-out of the crown. From what I heard, Seiko might discontinue that movement and will lean on the newer ones issued lately that hack and wind. Enjoy it in good health for a long time

Not sure why they would have even made this movement that is so similar to the 7 series. Thank you to everyone else that commented also.

How does the calibration work? Does the second hand snap quickly to the 12 o'clock position? That's pretty neat if it does. @Tony Great looking watch!! I just picked up an ani-digi Seiko. I'm always impressed with the value for the $$ spent when it comes to Seiko. Wear it in the best of health!! --Paul

How did I miss this post Tony!!! Thanks for the very nice write-up and extra details on this one. Very unique case configuration and dial layout (I like the contrasting day/date layout too). This is a new one to me, as I don't think I've seen any pieces at all from the Seiko superior lineup. Very interesting to see a Seiko with a Sapphire crystal instead of the traditional Hardlex. Enjoy this one Tony!

Paul, not not exactly sure what Jeff means, maybe he can shed some incite on that. I've used the lighly applied back tork on the crown t stop the second hand to sync the watch. Thanks for the kind comments and enjoy your new Ani-Digi. Chris, thank you also for the kind remarks, really a nice sport watch in many ways. Kudo's on the Ti Benarus, love the strap combo you used on that one
