Received my new Green Alpha PO knockoff yesterday, very pleased so far.

40mm bezel, 43mm w/ crown. Smooth crown movement while unscrewing, and it hacks! Haven't had an opportunity to check accuracy, but seems fine so far. I really like the green color. The lume isn't bad, and I like the fact that there's a slightly different color on the hands than on the markers, the hands are a bit more green.

For those of you w/ sharp eyes, no, that's not a blemish in the crystal, but rather a bit of schmutz that I didn't notice until after I took the picture .

I'm a bit conflicted on the bracelet. It has SEL's and screw pins, but it's a brushed finish, while the watch case is polished. A little odd looking, IMO. It also doesn't seem to fit right at the side of the case, almost a little small on the profile. Clasp is a push button deployant, no divers extension. I was thinking of picking up a green kevlar strap for it already, so we'll just have to see what I decide.

Shows 3 ATM water resistant, so I'll have to be cautious if I go swimming, but it's intended as a beater anyways.

F&F are pretty good on the main case, all in all I'm pretty happy of what I got for my $50 w/ shipping, and it only took 8 days after auction end to receive from Hong Kong.

David

Great catch David!!! :):):)

As for the bracelet, maybe you can ask Eric here how he "Satinized" one of his watch, I think it was the Black monster. Or ask him how to beadblast your Alpha's case, I think he should know how too!

I've got the one with the black dial/green bezel yesterday. Like it. A lot.

Take a look:
