OOPS!  Must have been having some type of flashback!  My bad.

Anyone catch the latest episode of The Soprano's?

There is a scene where Sir Ben Kingsley is picking up his "swag" at a Hollywood Hotel set up and one of the booths was ORIS!  He picked out a chronograph and a model I could not identify. The ORIS sales girl had a display of watches she was giving away to the presenters in some awards ceremony.

I could not help but think of Nvicta 2 years ago when Eeyore was giving those watches away at every friggin red carpet event he could worm his way in to. I think that was their Marketing Plan 938766232A. Not to be confused with the following weeks Marketing Plan 938766232B, where Nvicta cut off 90% of their "Authorized Distributors" (re. Web based sellers).

Of course that was followed by Marketing Plan 938766233, establishing retail distributors with brick & mortar facilities. (This plan was apparently not successful as they immediately followed up with Marketing Plan 938766233D, using late night home shopping hucksters to "Sale" their ever changing line.)

Anyway, the Oris scene was enough to make me pull out my Oris catalogs and try to find the watches that were shown! Just love those Oris timepieces!

Carry on.

Can yuse say "Widness Protexshun" ?

:cool::cool::cool:

There have been episodes of The Sopranos fairly regularly which have a snippet concerning timepieces.

I remember one where one of the goombas gives Tony 2 David Yurman, one for him and one for Carmella. Seems they fell off the truck?  No,..................I remember............the guys aunt died and left him $$$ in and he was given Tony his "taste".

I always figured someone in the creative/writing aspect of the show was another WIS!!!

Go ahead and start the car Guido.
