Folks, I need some help finding a non-traditional color rubber strap for my wife's watch. I bought her a Citizen NY0040-17L blue dialed diver a year ago. At the time I also put on a black rubber oyster strap, with deployment. The blue dial is dark and the black strap makes it too masculine, in her opinion. I have searched this forum and tons of strap sites, but cannot seem to find a light blue or pale pink strap for the watch. The lug width is 20mm, but I would get a strap that is 24mm and notch the ends. I purchased a military green 24mm panerai style strap from BaliHa'i. She liked the look of that particular strap. The only problem with that strap is that it would be too long and is not something that can be cut down. Don't know if there is anything out there that would fit the bill, but figured maybe someone here would have some suggestions. Thanks in advance. Chris

Chris did you look through Doug's selection? http://www.thewatchprince.com/watch-band/Diver-Sport-Watch-Bands;jsessionid=0a0105531f43c5e2731a17494104bd1ecf7aa466bfe9.e3eSc3uRax8Te34Pa38Ta38ObNz0 http://www.thewatchprince.com/watch-band/Ladies-Watch-Bands

Skip, I did check his site. I have bought from there in the past. Most of the rubber straps are only black and those that would be the color she wants are leather. She wants rubber so that she can wear it at the beach and in the pool. I really want to try to find something. It would help me with this addiction we all have. I only have 8 watches, but she seems to think that is 7 too many. Never mind the 50 pairs of shoes she has. If I could find the strap she wants, maybe the next watch won't cause me too much angst! NYR wrote: Skip, Sorry I could not help, his is the only site I have seen with a larger ladies selection of straps. Dose the wife have more than one purse? So glad I don't have that problem. Being married would so get in the way of too many things for me. LOL :D

NYR, I don't know if this tip will help but you might also want to check out the Swatch Watch replacement straps. They have lots of choices and for sure you can cut out at the lug width end easily if you find something. I gave my little daughter a small Seiko diver's watch some time ago and when she didn't like the black rubber strap, I searched at Swatch store and found something. I think it was an aquarium-themed strap. If you are not particular about the logo stamp, try Technomarine too. Hope this helps.:)
