I got this Vintage Tan Croc from Jeanna for my PAM 305 and it's really a stunner. I asked Jeanna to make it look older than its natural age and she suggested to oil it down thus the patina of age. She mailed it to Auckland but I wasn't around to take delivery of it and waited about 4 weeks for the strap to get to me in Asia. My son is spending some R&R with me in Asia in between Uni terms. My wait is over. Here are some pix. Since the PAM 305 is a big watch at 47mm across, I also asked her to make the stitches fatter and thicker. Jeanna suggested to also oil down the stitches to add some more age to it overall. Here is the final product. Check out a close-up of the detailing that went into the strap. I am very pleased with the final result and I think the Vintage Tan look will go well with the predominant gun metal gray of the PAM 305's titanium case. Hope you like it (William/Watchdaddy1.....this is the strap I told you about 3 weeks ago. It's very similar to yours and what you posted recently but I added some age to it). By the way, the strap is 4.5mm thick and padded at the lug end and is 26mm across to match the PAM 305's lugs. Then the strap tapers down to 22mm at the buckle end and just about 3mm thick at the tail. Last edited on Tue Nov 23rd, 2010 09:01 am by bigrustypig |

This is an awesome strap, Jeff! I love the thick thread and rugged look overall. Worth the wait, methinks!

Looks GREAT Jeff. She does an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job, a TRUE craftsman in her proffesion.. If you can handle The Wait (as it is a little long) the final result is worth it..I have another project for her once my Anonimo arrives

Wow Jeff!!! That strap is a looker!!!26.gif Just the right amount of vintage "wear", perfect color, and love that super thick black carbon thread (what type of thread is that Jeff - Linen?). Super looking strap, and I cannot wait to see it on your PAM 305!!!

Thanks for looking and appreciating William, Will, John, Trent and Chris. @ William...yes, the wait was surely worth it and makes it even more fun @ Sheriff Will....will post pix as soon as rotation skeds come up, amigo. Promise. @ Trent...somehow I think the play of vintage tan on dull and toned-down gun metal gray might just do it. saw a couple of Risti do it on their Subs and they looked quite different and nice @ Chris....these are linen threads, amigo. I deferred to Jeanna's judgement on this one and I think oiling it down would be more effective on absorbent linen versus nylon threads. I'm looking at darkening this a tad by using some mink oil and maybe oxblood shoe cream just to get that perfect aged look. Thanks again, 3T.

Nice one Jeff. The strap will be very tasty on your 305 - especially if the stitching is a good match for the dark dial. I have not seen a 305 with that strap combo - so bring on the pics! Thumbs up to Jeanna for what looks to be VERY superior work. Cheers good sir and have a good weekend! Ian
