I just realized the crown is not PVD'd on that one... which is set off by the SS buckle, so yeah it works Chick...  hand6.gif

Sorry, but it looses the stealthy.....if that's a word, look. Black or especially black rubber would be my choice:)

The Steinhart strap that came with the watch is terrible. The leather is hard and the buckle seems like it's plastic. The stap is also an extra long, so the watch just slides around my wrist. I saw a PVD watch with a brown croc strap and thought it looked cool. I also have a Heavy Silicone Rubber Panerai Style Dive Strap that I bought from Strapped for Time that I could put on. .

I like tan & black combos but am not a fan of faux gator .....I think it would look great on a flieger style strap like a DiModell Chronissimo or vintage snap like Steve put on his DeBaufrewatch2.gifjust a little rant...I hate it when a watch company can't provide a decent strap that is at least wearable and suits the watch!

The combo works for me but that would be a tough watch to hide for a couple years in the manner of the watch in your avatar! face4.gif

I'm a fan of brown on black; but not in this case. Maybe a lighter brown?

If you like it wear with pride. It don't do it for me as it reminds me of brown shoes with a tuxedo. I have been told many times though I have no fashion coordination or taste though. subtlelaugh.gif
