The rotor on my monstrum is pretty noisy compared to my other autos. Has anyone else found this?

It is miyota based, so if you are comparing to an ETA, it will be. If you have another miyota based watch compare it to that first.

I wouldn't worry if it's keeping time well:)

Yes, mine too is very noisy when I type or move my hand. We were at a play, it was very quiet during one scene, and my wife actually heard it when I was moving my arm around. This was a bad thing, because she said   "I have never heard or seen that watch before"

OOOPS! I got busted

I find that the rotor continues to make noise even after you stop moving your arm - I must admit this is my only watch that does this (the noise after you've stopped moving) but it seems to keep good time so I'll live with it.

Seems like they all do it!   It's the only slight downside on them - mine sounds like I've got the cast of Riverdance on my arm sometimes!

All my Miyotas have some rotor spin noise....mistake.gif

I have some Val.7750's that are noisier than the Monstrum which is running at +/- 11 secs. right now and that is Awesome imo hand6.gif

Mine may or may not be noisy....I'm too hard of hearing to tell, but if the neighbors call to complain, I'll let you know!!!subtlelaugh.gif
