I just need to ask why the warranty card is so important if Berg has a list of when each owner purchased and backs the warranty 100% to all original owners for 1 year? :?

I own 10 Orsas,3 Enzos and 1 Kenzo(all 3T brand forums) now and it has never entered my mind to worry about if I have a warranty card or not:)

Remember some are new to the game O. ;)

There are many of us WIS Vets that don't pay attention to such much unless it is someone new were dealing with. But the new folk to the game go with the flow of the paper in hand dealing with retail and all. :D

For me it doesnt matter at all, cause I know Berg and his reputation of standing behind his product first hand, He has proven that to me previously.

My Logic is only in case, and I hope I never have to but sometimes a Grail comes up and you have to move things in order to help fund it.

Some buyers always ask, "Do you have papers" Do you have a box" etc.... So in case I had to move something of mine in my collection I could answer yes to insure a sale.

Heres the perfect example:

Warranty Card Pictured
http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=10196&forum_id=8

I sold my Doxa last year and in order to seal the deal I had to get ahold of Doxa for the CD in order for the buyer to purchase it from me.

Theres no doubt that Berg is the man!

Some Purchasers will only buy if its complete. It also documents without a doubt how old the watch is, backing up ones word as well.

Im not sure what the exact definition of a Flipper is to you guys?

Sometimes, we all have to sell something in order to make a bigger purchase and also in order to cover ones butt after purchasing like a drunk sailor while surfing endlessly on the net. Or a Car problem etc... Is that Flipping?

a "flipper' in my best recognition Huck....is someone who buys only to resell, and others who buy wear them a short while and then sell..or buy and find out they don't like it and then sell ...I am sure other variations exist from WIS to WIS :D....btw "Box and Papers' means box...and instructional manuals,COSC certs ,warranty card when avalible,(to authenticate a brand name or high end watch as to not be a fake or replica)...I don't think anyone is replicating Orsas at this time... most warranties are not honored when sold to 2nd,3rd parties unless otherwise noted by the manufacturer....I have bought many watches that this was true when they needed repair and bought pre-owned whether they were still under warranty or not:?

LOL Flippers I like to play. :D

I'm what some could call a hoarder. I hold onto every thing. LOL

There are many classifications of WIS and many of us cross over in the classes too. Bottom line is a good WIS loves watches. hearteyes.gif

Hi Folks,
It would appear that some might be concerned about the warranty cards that were obviously not ready for Martin's quick shippment to impatient WIS.
Martin is true to his word (never doubted), my warranty card arrived from La Belle Province today!!!
Not that we needed them, Martin has a record of whom he sold his beauties too and as many here will attest, would honorably stand behind his craftsmanship.

Thanks all and I look forward to the new Sea Angler!!

Cheers
Mike
