Hi all,
this morning i got a letter from the lawyers of LVM (Louis Vuitton) and "KENZO Societe Anonyme". They will file a lawsuit if i dont agree to pay there lawyer etc.

I first canceled my domain.
So it will be not anymore online.
You can use this site "http://www.die24.de" until i have set up a new domain.

I was close to announce the Nautilus2.
Now to avoid any problems i need to produce a new dial and caseback.

Please be patient.

Well that just sucks!

Sorry the world is such a touchy place.

Slow times, the lawyers probably just sit and google things all day looking for people to sue, to keep theyre jobs.

Do you have to change your Username too? subtlelaugh.gif

if i could afford it i would fight it....

thanks all for your mental support!

Kazim, that REALLY does suck!!!!! mistake.gif

All your hard work and not to mention all the $$$ involved in scrapping the dials and case backs. Having to make all new can't be cheap. We are behind you 100% and when the Nautilus II does finally arrive you will have my support, if it is anything like the first Nautilus it will be a real winner.

LVM (Louis Vuitton) is probably just jealous that they could never come close to producing a watch as good as yours!

That's really too bad.  I wonder if it might be cheaper to pay a royalty on the watches with the offensive dials and cases than to have to trash them and start over.

I was expecting this.

Kenzo is really famous here in Europe. Perfume, Fashion, Accessories... it's just everywhere.

Good luck on building a new brand identity hand6.gif

thanks to all.

kenzo has protected there name. thats fine.
but first of all they dont produce any watches.
also i never named my watches kenzo.

if i had enough money, realy i would not give up.
my guess is, that i can win with a good lawyer.

i will get a new name for my watches.
but still they are designed by Kazim Kenzo! :)

Is there a way around it?  By setting up an Address here in the USA

The picking on the little guy, really has me disturbed.

I bet  you that they have copied a thousand other peoples products and have stolen many ideas from others!  Bastads.....

i just googled and find a lawsuit which they make against a company in italy, which is called "enzo" (not our enzo). they said it sound to close to kenzo. but they lost that lawsuit.

i can name my watches XXX designed by Kazim Kenzo.......
but you can imagine how much space that needs on the dial.......

i think i need to move to United States.....
i would do it tomorrow if i could get a greencard......

first i have to close this issue ....

i let you all know

Kazim, moving to USA won't solve the problem. Kenzo will hunt you everywhere.

It's true that Kenzo has not released watches yet, but I'm sure they plan to do it. All the fashion brand are doing it (Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, DG, Armani, etc...). It's a good business.

If I can give you an advice: just don't lose your time with this. It's a battle not worth fighting...

Why don't you use "Kazim" instead? It sounds great!

;) Good luck!
