Anders has two new Diver’s coming out in 2009.

1.      The Tritium diver will have a Miyota automatic movement.  There will be three different dials to pick from.  Also it will come with a SS finish or PVD.  The bezel (120 clicks) will have a ceramic insert. Comes with bracelet, nato or rubber.  The case will be 44mm.   Targeted price:  $350.00 to $420.  The Miyota movement will keep the price down, which sounds good to me.

2.      1000m will have an ETA 2824.  The case is inspired by those vintage depth meter used in the 60s-70s.  The case will be 44mm and 17-18mm thick.  The case is big and thick.  This case is did not come off some shelve or you don’t have to see someone else using it.  This case is Anders creation and will come in SS or PVD.  The dial is more of a modern twist, so it’s a mix of today’s times and of old world.  Two dial colors will be available.  Also with bracelet, rubber or leather.  You’re looking at under $1000.00 for this brute.

Anders state’s not sure when and what is going to debut first.  Both are in their final stage of production.  I admire Anders great care for detail in dial & bezel work.  His most recent creation the Flieger Timer is just awesome looking.  Cannot wait to see to these new divers.

Anders is in tune with what people want, can't go wrong  with a Dievasperfect.gif Just my humble opinion;) but what do I knowcrap.gifof course I have purchased two in the last two monthsperfect.gifI'm considering another Dievas but it must be special like the Black Diamond. I have enough diver watches.coyote2.gif unless Anders show me something specialsubtlelaugh.gif I'm laughing because the Black Diamond is hard to beat:)

My two recent Dievas

Does anyone know if either of the new divers will replace the Aqualuna as the flagship model for the company? Sounds like the diver that is just under $1000 could be potentially the new flagship model.
