again...we are not redesigning the watch or bezel but only the dial....if you look at my pic of my Aqualuna in the 1st page of this thread the markers are located in the same place and works just fine imho!.....to remake a bezel is a expensive undertaking so Please let's stay on track with the dial design only and not cause any confusion as to the original purpose of this thread.thankyou.gif

imho the original dial rocks and if the hands were lume filled instead of half skels and the minute markers on the chapter ring more defined it would be percfect! yahoo.gif

So speaking strictly with regard to the DIAL -- here is my final thought, and BigRustyPig might back me up on this -- substitute LUME DOTS for non-essential numbers 1,2,3,4,7,8,10,11.    I think this might give the DIAL more Pop!  It might be something to consider and compare?  smile8.gif

I know that we aren't redesigning the whole watch, but I have to ecco that a PVD bezel with the SS case would be great. I would think that this would be very easily done since there is already a PVD version and an SS version. I always think options are a good thing.

Then please stick to the topic! bezel, case, strap and all would be a seperate topic. ;)

Absolutely, yes, Rhino Ranch. Using big dots instead of numbers for the dial will be a good option to consider. Dots would be the best, cheapest and most efficient platform for lume. Dots might be more iconic and will make the dial less busy with all those numbers. In short, numbers on the bezel as presented by Anders but dots on the dial.....this might work.

As  before, for the hands it's all about lume, lume, lume.

These are the final versions I have narrowed down to:

As mentioned once again. The AquaLuna Classico will be an addition to the current AquaLuna who prefers something more traditional. It is not a replacement.

I liked everything except #5, which is too busy.  I think #2 is the best with it's big, substantial indeces. These versions are killers, Anders. Serial killers?.....add buckets of lumesubtlelaugh.gif

Good work, amigo!

what happened to this dial? ....this was my favorite because the minute hash marks were easy to read and the 12 hr. dial worked great imho....aside from the ones Zarith did in the grey dial which are still my favorites hand6.gif

im with #6. classic and very decent looking (the concentric circles in the middle of dial could be swapped with waves, which imo will balance out the many circles already present in the design. not a biggie though). can easily go well with formal shirts or relax wear

#2 looks striking among the pics (i.e. good, relatively speaking), but on its own i think it will stand out too much like a dart board (not my pref)
#3 and #4 seems too cute for me. a creative professional may wear it to work due to it being very standout and creative looking, though
#5 is busy
#1 is decent, but lack details and an "edge" when compared to #6.

hence, #6 seems to be a balance between work and fun. looks good if i imagine it on its own; also, holds well among the other 5 competitors

my 2 cents
cheers

#3 and #4 look outstanding to me, still ready to sign up for one as soon as they are available.
