What kind of lug-to-lug distance would we be looking at? Still having serious doubts on whether its too big or not, especially because it would be quite some money for me (being a student). Its been on my mind all weekend :P

I have a 47mm flieger (diameter inc crown: 53mm) and that barely fits my 6.7 inch (17 cm) wrists, so anything larger would wear like an oversized watch (which is definately not something I want).

Just wondering if i should go for this one or wait for the GMT. I have a slight preference for the Megalodon.

Hello Ralf,

I can see that a common concern amongst people considering the Megalodon is the size... myself included (notwithstanding that, I believe this is a project worth supporting and I've already sent my deposit for s/no. 88). This is going to be the biggest Benarus so far, and anyone with wrists less than 7 inches is quite validly concerned about how it will wear, especially on straps.

Therefore, I would like to suggest that you provide 2 lengths of straps as an option. One short (perhaps) 100/70, and one long 120/80 - buckle length not included.

There is also another possible solution for those with wrists less than 7 inches. That will be to provide the straps on a clasp buckle which threads the tail of the strap on the inside instead. I have a Citizen Promaster with this, and it works well to 'bulk' up the wrist and mask the size of the watch.

Please consider. Thanks.

I like the idea of a shorter strap option .....

Agreed.  I tried to write down all of the numbers that people posted; but I know that sometimes they are ordered without a forum post.  #68 is fine too & the watch itself is even finer!  :)
