I've been looking to replace a watch I lost earlier this year. I've never owned a Dive watch and was leaning toward a Yao MMT MKII Blackwater based on a lot of positive feedback. 48 hours ago I stumble across a pic (on another forum) of Sea Devil. Wow! Who and what is Benarus? And of course this watch is sold out....but wait, what's this Moray (more my style)? Long story short, I shot Steve an e-mail. I was shocked that I got a response in less than 5 minutes. It looks like I'll have a green faced Moray coming my way after he gets his shipment. I could have swore that there was a link on their site for leather watch bands. However, there is nothing today? Does anyone know what color leather band will come with the watch? I would love to get a nice shade of brown to play off the green dial. I don't know a lot about watch movements. For me it's always been, does it look good & does it work. What's the track record with the Miyoto (sp)?..movement? I pretty stoked about the price point on this watch. For once I may have been in the right place at the right time.

Welcome to 3T and Congrats on snagging a hot Moray. To answer your question, yes they offer leather straps for sale. What wil lcome with your initial order wil lbea brown leather strap and bracelet. There was a problem with the black leather straps, and these will be shipped at a later date when they come in. I hope this answers your question(s). Welcome the Madness!

Welcome to 3T and congrats on snagging a Moray, your first experience with the Benarus customer service and Steve getting back to you in 5 minutes is pretty normal for Ralf and Steve. As mentioned above along with the awesome custom bracelet on the Moray you will also receive a brown and black leather strap....the black will ship separate, Ralf was not satisfied with the quality of the first batch. Make sure you check out the Megalodon, this watch is a custom design, with a bunch of input from members of this forum, it will have a swiss ETA movement and will probably be shipping in January. The limited edition run is almost sold out, I believe there are only 4 or 5 left....this will be ann unbelievable watch.

Welcome aboard. Let's chew the fat, Gristle. The Miyota movement in the Moray is a reasonably priced, bullet-proof, automatic movement. It just works. Many boutique watch companies use it because of its low cost, compared to Swiss-made automatic movements of equivalent function.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. The wait is going to kill me. Are there any pics of a Moray on a leather band?
