Many of you who are more or less active on the forum, as well as the others certainly remarked that there is often 10 times more guests than members on the forum. It's a great thing to have guests reading 3T and certainly many of them over the weeks, months, years made the jump inside the action to participate actively ![]() Still, when I see so many readers and newcomers , I would personally like to see more presentations and participations: Wherever you are from! This forum is international and that's the way we like it. This is coming from me: A guy who is living at the north-end of the world in the Arctic region of Norway and arrived on 3T like any other beginners and with no special knowledge about the watch-forum's life. I found out very fast that only reading would not answer all my WIS questions and would not give me the learning spectrum I was seeking as well. Participation is leading forward, to watch is following back. Let's hope this will make some of the shy guests and members become some writers and maybe more! Welcome on 3T ![]()

Let me think of ways to create a short photo-essay of some pieces, Sheriff. I'll wiggle in some time for this. I noticed you and Chris (Stew77) are mods now. Big Congrats.....I must have missed the announcement with my hectic sked. ![]() ![]() ![]()

One thing that kept me around and active it that 3T is it's more like WIS family over the other boards out there here on 3T. I don't even visit else where unless following a link to look at a watch anymore. Stick around jump in and chime in on a topic or ask questions, many very knowlwdgeable folks around. Don't be shy. ![]()

And let's not forget the collective power of the forum - on one occasion succeeding in recovering a member's funds when someone tried to play him for a large amount of $s (I believe our good sheriff was instrumental in that success). Dim

True Dimitri. And is seems like it never happened before in any similar case. We was talking about 5700$ gone for a Pam 312: The guy got tiles instead of a watch. The bad guy lives in north Norway and the good is in Arizona: Bad combination to ring on some door steps and claim the watch. I remember, I was on a close friend's wedding and instead of partying, I was on the net putting in place the final funds transaction between the tile artist and our friend. The full amount of money came back to the US member. Now, find this on another forum...

I remember it well and, as an international commerce / litigation lawyer, I was amazed that you guys who were actively involved achieved this result. My hat off to you and all involved. And, true, I have not seen it in any other forum (and it's not the successful outcome so much but the solidarity). D

Well, that's the thing Dim...You're a lawyer, I'm a pipefitter in the oil industry... We don't use the same methods ![]()

I'm in the oil industry too and, trust me, I have used worse methods than yours to achieve results! Let's just say that the world is full of ex-military facilitators...

Yes amigo. There's a time for negotiations and a time for actions. Pity for evil, is for the fool. You certainly learned that. Fortunately, in this case, I just had to talk. But the guy knew what was coming and he finally made a wise choice...
