I've been playing with this one every time I have a spare hour or so kickin around.  I really had no idea where I was going, just did whatever felt right at the time.

PVD movement, nice antique looking dial with aged black accents, brushed the PVD case to give it an old worn gun metal look, rustic spotty light grey lume (on purpose) that doesn't glow too bright to keep the older feel.

26.gifThat's a really beautiful creation also knowns as a watch, Blue. Since you make straps, what would be your top 3 selections for that? Would you ever consider a light tan distressed strap as the first choice?

Looks great...the only bothersome point to me is the bright white seconds hand seems out of place with everything else you have done for the vintage look.

I agree , the white seconds hand needs coloured black with a sharpie or even just removed ThumbsUp02.gif

I was planning on getting up a few shots with straps, but it looks like this one is already out the door to someone in Singapore.

I think my first choice would be a strap from the vintage leather bag from India that the watch is sitting on on the pix.

I would have to see what a tan would look like but I'm guessing it may take away from the dial since the two colours would wash each other out.

Couldn't agree more.  I actually almost made a comment in my OP stating that I needed to change the colour of that second hand.  It's just too much and doesn't go with the "motif" of the watch.

Blue, I sort of suspected that bag would go to the strap for the watch. That wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

However, just me....I think getting a clash between the watch and the band would exactly be what I'd go for. A gray or black leather strap would be totally ho-hum....IMHO.

Again, I liked that watch a lot26.gif

Ok, so we all agree including my customer that the second hand needed to be black. He decided to go with my "Tuxedo" strap, white tack stitching. Here's the finished watch after fixing up the second hand and adding his strap.
