Ok...so long story short, thanks to the wonderful generosity of my wife over the holiday season, I ended up with another Hamilton X-Wind. Let me just say that I'm a huge fan of the X-Wind and see it as one of the best values out there with the Vouljoux 7750 caliber inside, but I do not need two of these...so I'm letting one of these go. Some top level specs: Movement: Automatic-winding with Valjoux caliber 7750 with chronograph, day, and date functions. Case: Stainless steel 44mm with screw-down crowns, sapphire crystal and exhibition back. 15mm thickness dimension. Bracelet: Brown calfskin with aviator rivets. Dial: Black with silver chrono highlights Notes: Calculate the effect of crosswind on the bearing of your airplane with the Khaki X-Wind watches (refer to manual for detail on how to use this). I am the second owner of this Hamilton X-Wind...purchased by me back in late November 2009. On the TZ scale of watch rating I would rate this watch Excellent (92%) since the watch has very light brush marks on the case back (looks like the original owner may have stored the watch on a night stand or dresser surface). These are very light and I'm guessing would polish out with a cape cod cloth if you wanted the caseback factory fresh. There is a scuff mark (not a scratch) on the bezel - shown near the 3 o'clock position in the included photos (mark extends from the "17" to the "20" on the outer bezel). I expect that this mark would easily brush out with a fiber pen or 3M green pad...keep in mind that my photo is in macro mode taken a couple inches from the watch bezel...this mark is not noticeable in normal wear, but I am very diligent about making a full disclosure. There are a few very light brush marks on the lugs side with the dual inner bezel screw down crowns with a slightly darker scuff mark on the left lug side. Again look at photos below that show this detail (they are not visible under normal lighting and I had to view them under high intensity direct sunlight to see them at all). Nice Hamilton leather watch band shows a crease as an indication that the watch was worn by original owner and me (see photo). All other is perfect...all chronos operate perfectly and reset centered, sapphire crystal is absolutely perfect. I have done my best to provide photos that very accurately capture the condition of the watch as it is now (I have not worn this watch since these photos were taken). I have also taken extra time to photograph the light brush marks and bezel mark that I mentioned above along with the strap condition. I have sold and bought a few pieces here at 3T so check out the sales section. Watch includes everything in the group pic...Inner and Outer Hamilton boxes, X-Wind Manual, International Warranty Manual with date purchase December 30, 2008. Hamilton provides a 2 year International Warranty, but I do not know Hamilton's policy on transferability. I am asking $650 shipped CONUS USPS Priority Mail w/ Insurance.
