For those of you who are not familiar with Eterna, take a look at the five star logo and then look at the rotor bearing in the 2824 in the back shot... yes indeed ETA scooped up Eterna's movement technologoy at some point in time though I am not sure if Swatch group owns the Eterna brand today... At any rate The Eternamatic is the granddaddy of the ETA movement model line! Great pickup and great piece of swiss watch history!
