I've never heard that about Montana but have heard on many occasions there is something along the lines that if Texas wanted to secede they could not sure if true or for what reason it could be done if so. But the Courts would be stupid to go there. Unless they just want to start a civil war. I have some back woods cousins that would not go for it. If it happens I'll move back to the South and join them. But this stuff comes up every so often. I've seen like matters for at least 25 years now. I'd say it's likely just stuff to get some folks all riled up for no good reason.
