 I just had to snag this Yema Seaspider, mainly because I never see them around.  Word is that they're essentially Seiko of France.

Anyway, the fellow I bought it from, tcdel over at WUS did a really fantastic job packing up the watch with the original burgundy wood box and outer sleeve.

Here are the stats:


Case material:  stainless-steel

Case diameter:  42 millimeters

Case Thickness:  12 millimeters

Band material:  stainless-steel

Crystal:  mineral crystal

Band width:  18 millimeters

Looks like the movement is a 4S15 automatic.  The case is WR to 200m.

The bracelet doesn't feel all that solid, but it has a diver's extension and the clasp snaps securely.

The outer bezel is an odd 120-clicker, where the clicks alternate firm, then soft.  So when I turn it, the thing goes CLICK click CLICK click CLICK.  I've never felt a bezel that moved like this, but then again I'm really new at this.

The inner bezel can be rotated with the crown at 2 o'clock, which is not of the screw-down variety.  Weird.  The crown at 4 o'clock does screw down.

The lume is bright when fully charged, but fades fairly quickly.

I don't think there's anything really amazing here as far as materials or mechanicals (though the silver dial is interesting).  But it'll make a nice casual everyday watch that none of my friends will have.
