OPEC nations buy U.S. grain at $7.00 a bushel.
Solution: Sell grain for $136.00 a bushel.
Can't buy it?  Tough!   Eat your oil!
Ought to go well with a nice thick grilled fillet of camel ass!!!

I agree %100 But until the $#%@^%# in D.C. get their heads out of thier asses and we get our own fuel were are stuck with those no good $#&@%# .  We are letting a vocal minority aka environ"mental"ists run this country into the ground.
Another thing I learned today.  If we all switched to diesel vehicles in the US we would save $33 billion a year.

Gotta agree...don't want this to turn into a big political discussion though as it's too easy to upset people...that said, I also agree with the diesel statement....if we switched to diesel, it would be produced in much higher quantities and then the low production volume surcharge would disappear...GM kinda destroyed the diesel market back in the 70/80 with the POS engine they tried to convert from gas to diesel.

As to fuel prices, when the silver/gold market got out of hand back in the 1970's (thank you Hunt brothers)...hedge funds were forbidden to speculate in those commodities and the price plummeted back to what the market really was.  They need to do that with hedge funds/oil today!  There really is no supply problem...but we still need to tap are own oil reservoirs (anywhere they are) and build more refineries (another 100 nuke power plants wouldn't hurt either) in order to control our own economic destiny.
