I use the watchdeco site and another called fifty fathoms as guides. Just as there are many fakes of these watches, there are dozens of variants too. So I use my own photo records, review the photos on the above sites and ask some knowledgeable mates.

Tea leaves, Ouiji boards and Tarot cards are also useful.

Finally, the best advice on the forums which cannot be repeated enough: "Buy the seller"
