Looking forward to a relaxing day spent on the deck with some grilling going down. I think we'll go with tenderloins for dinner. As dusk approaches we'll have the 7th annual Paxman fireworks extravaganza. As the kids get bigger and a bit more tolerant the display gets bigger and better. I have partnered with one of the neighbors (another big kid) and we've got a solid show planned with some truly devastating finale pieces. Supposedly the law enforcement is really going to be going after "illegal" fireworks this year but we'll probably have the neighborhood constable in attendance. Should be a blast.
And BTW...great post Ken. We all too often forget the sacrifices our founding fathers made and think its all barbecue and fireworks.
