hi! am a mac addict from back in the day. It's all I've ever used in my studio and business, unless forced to touch a Devil's Operating System based machine at the network office. On a side note, we do have a surprising amount of Macs at JTV it's fun to watch the Mac guys mock the pc guys dealing with their daily crashes.

I have experienced something similar to what you are describing, and I agree that either making space on the drive (how I resolved it; in my case I had archived too much of my photography so burning a couple of dvd's and cleaning up the drive worked) or getting into a bigger drive might be just the thing.
