I lived in Charleston, SC when I got married back in 69'. Isle of Palms was about a dozen old beach houses and a bar where Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs played as the house band. Best seafood was a place called The Trawler. Used to eat shrimp and oysters down on the docks and buy pistacchios out of a 5 cent gum ball machine down at Big John's. The local kids would go here on Prom night, etc. in their full dress and mingle with the sailors and grits rednecks. Only trouble was the Navy guys back from Vietnam trying to get their legs back under them.;) Folly Beach was still old time residents and the oil money had not found the "NEW" Hilton Head North yet. (Kiawah) Wife managed a boutique on King St. downtown. Some great times and some great memories while we were there. Don't worry about the confusing messages exchanged between some of us. Just old time WIS trying to right a wrong and keep the truth alive and well. :dude:CHEEPS VOTE FOR PHAITKRUSHPOSER
