Simon - if I were in your shoes, I would have done exactly the same thing.

Well done, sir - that is the act of a true gentleman.

Last year, we had a big news story about a family that found an envelope on their front lawn. Two 12 year old kids found it, and handed it in to Police after discussing it with their Mom. Rather than go to the dark side and spend the rest of their lives as little thieves, these two kids got 3 consecutive nights of pats on the back, TV stories, newspaper articles and merit-based rewards from their community - and all for doing the right thing. It seems perverse that people can make such a fuss over what would seem to be the right thing to do anyway...  but then again - the envelope contained nearly $50,000 AUD and was claimed by the rightful (non-drug-dealer!) owner.

It is yin and yang, Simon. The universe will pay you back tenfold.

Cheers mate on such a nice gesture. Ian
