No.......I was Regular Army but resigned after 8 years (just before promo to Major). A couple of years of patrolling the Czech border during the "so-called" Cold War (it wasn't that "cold" on the border), and 2 combat tours in Vietnam (1 in recon and 1 as an Infantry Company CO), I felt I had done my duty servibg my country (and I still consider it an honor to have done so). That Gylycine was purchased in the PX in Germany circa 1965, has an AS1701 auto movement and is still as accurate (moreso than my Rolex GMTII) as ever!
