How about a Hamilton Khaki Automatic. It's a name brand you father is sure to recognize and appreciate, it has a long history of rugged service, and big easy to read numbers on the dial. They look great on leather, ZULU, NATO, rubber, or bracelet and come in many flavors and more conservative sizes.
