Is the 35-378 a wildcat? I have not heard of it. It sounds like a .378Wmag necked down to .35.  "big chunk o lead go very fast"

I like Ol' Blue  :),  I'll bet she can reach out and touch them! She needs some glass on top though. :P I think I have a 8x32x50 laying around here somewhere.
The  CZ have a single set trigger which really make it a bang for the buck.
Yes, they are all wildcats.   The 35-378 is a 338-378 weatherby mag  run through a 35 cal tapered expander in a 378 weatherby die.  Then  fit formed  in the chamber  before loading.  Then once loaded it is fire formed to the chamber.
  ol'blue has a scope now.  Its a Nightforce 3.5x15x50

Nightforce makes some good glass, though 15x seems a bit weak to me for 1000 yard rifle. But then my eyes are terrible and I need all the help I can get. :)

I was just rummaging through my gun stuff looking for a 158 SWC bullet mold and saw the scope I had gathering dust was a 6.5x24 Simmons and not an 8x32, OK for a .22lr but nothing to put on top of a centerfire let alone a belted Magnum. It came from my CZ 452 LUX, I though it was way to big to be on a squirrle rifle so I replaced it with a Leupold 4X Rimfire.
