Awesome Pics Tom....My Elgin of the Same Era (40's) Utilized a Similar Snap Case Design(no hinges though like Rolex)...Very Unique

This Rolex is typical of a lot of old dress watches that use a snap-in case; it just snaps together so tight that a tool is needed to reopen it.
