I know all the famous leather strap brands (Hirsch, Di-Modell, Rios, Lic, etc...), but for rubber straps I'm just lost! I only see low cost stuff, in the $10-20 range. Is there such a thing as a "high quality" rubber strap?
I can clearly see the difference between a $10 and a $100 leather strap. The difference is striking : on one side there is something that feels like cardboard and is full of wrinkles and cracks after a few weeks; on the other side we have a soft, thick and resistant strap. But I haven't got enough rubber straps in my hand to notice real difference of quality. They always feel (and smell!) the same...
Could you guys share your experience/knowledge?
(I'm about to pay a lot for an "official" natural rubber band, I'm wondering if it worth it or not...)
