What an unfortunate situation all around. My complains about the noise sometimes, but it was usually when she had just put a child down for a nap (when she ran a daycare) and it was a complaint not aimed at the military, but I always remind her that it's the sound of freedom she is hearing. We have an ANG base here, and I enjoy the sounds myself, always fun to see if you can spot a jet scooting along w/ it's afterburners on (not always easy with all of the trees!). Thanks for posting, and I'm especially glad to see the published response by the original complaintant.
