I'm with Pax on this, handling and wearing my friends Planet Ocean and my TT2 I'd say that the are equal with the Oris be superior in some regards. However, Omega is an iconic brand and recognized the world over whereas Oris might only be known by a WIS (even if only a modest closet WIS). So I guess you'd have to define what superior is to you. I have no wish to resell any of my watches so Oris is superior to me because it's a better value imho. However technologically as stated Omega does have better access to newer components or inventions (ie co-axial mvmt's). Seeing as how my joy of watches is ever increasing (thanks 3T ) I'll eventually get one of everything so I don't have to debate one way or the otherwoohoo.gif
