OK, so I had a great Christmas with the family and all. But this was my forst year ever buying a timepiece online (being in the industry for many years we were always "suspect" of online watch dealers). But after doing some homewark and wanting a new watch, I took a chance this year. I don't have pics yet, but will try to upload some asap. 1) On JTV I bought a Riedenschild Dark Sea Diver Multi for $139. The sucker has a huge 45MM dial, automatic, thick saph crystal and exhib back, day/date and subdials with 24hr, month and year, comes with both rubber and SS bracelets. Seriously, for $139 how can you possibly go wrong? 2) On ShopNBC I got an Invicta Pro Diver with fishscale dial for $80. Come on now...auto, saph crystal, 20atm, 43MM dial, SS bracelt, date with magnifying eye over the date. It's a great Omega knock off to boot! For $80, and I got the extended 5year ext service plan and free shipping. Seriously, how can you beat that? For about $220, I got to really nice auto watches. That's less than what I spent 4 years ago to buy a pretty ghetto ESQ. While I think you can get ripped off with some of these shop at home channels ( their pricing on old model Movados, TAGs and Baumes is awful!), if you know what to look for there are some serious deals to be had. Just wanted to share and I'll get pics out as I can, ~QTE
