but there is a big difference between a watch like the Monstrum at $225.which is a bargain compared to what's out there in this price range and a O7 for $1000. ... Berg also backs his product whether you are the original owner or second or third as long as it is within his warranty time period...from what I hear O7 warranties are non-transferable...and Mitch himself said the 07 forum is no longer his main source for sales..this is his quote:"I think it also important to remind everyone that the OCEAN7 forum is a brand forum that is paid advertising. I also agree any warranty issues should be between watch owner and manufacturer and not for open forum...and on 3T it is an unwritten rule that we do not stand for bashing within our brand forums and want positive input...these forums are for fans to enjoy and be privy to new designs and an outlet for our 3T friends to be able to entertain our members with the opportunity to be able to express what they would like to see in these designs...so there is no room for nay sayers who only like to stir the pot....if you are not a fan it's like anything else in life...either you stay away,tune it out or turn it offhand6.gif
as far as O7 to each their own is what I say...some of their loyal fans are a bit over powering and voiceful to an annoying level outside of that forum though while others like displayed within this thread are complete gentleman WIS who have shared positive opinions which I personally respect
... buy what you like and not because someone tells you to or you are expected to play follow the leader in order to fit in...everyone finds their own comfort level and niche in this hobby and should be respected by all WIS because afterall it is about watches ...I can buy watches from any of the 3T friends of equal or better quality and with the knowledge of exactly what movement will be powering it for a much fairer price with a much larger selection in a variety of price ranges that fit every WIS's pocket imho cat28.gif
