I've been using the avatar (at left) for so long a lot of you probably think that's me. Well, it's not. The avatar is my dad - - cropped from this family photo in the back yard of our home in Hudson, Wisconsin during the summer of 1955. That handsome stud at lower right is yours truly. My dad passed away in 1968 from a brain tumor soon after I finished active duty in the Marine Corps, so his photo is just a reminder of my dad in those carefree summer days of the '50s.
