On the other hand I didn't think Villemont was around long enough to have enough repairs to put them under.

I think everyone buying these watches knows about the servicing end just don't care to consider that factor until it's time is due. I don't beleive watch companies do this at no profit as stated by Swatch/Longines. Longines may only do it for a pittance because they are struggling to become their former selves and have to prove their worth. On the other hand I didn't think Villemont was around long enough to have enough repairs to put them under.
