You make a good point Ken. I have no idea who the guy who wrote that article is working for. I think alot of the facts that he cites are probably verifiable. If you look at alot of "reputable" publications, I think you'll find that most of them are saying that the debate is over. The Mac is the better machine and will continue to kick Microsofts butt when it comes to operating systems. The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and PC World are a few of the places where I've read this. I think there was a time when you could say that those entering the business world needed to know how to operate a windows OS. But, I think what is important to know now, is that the windows operating system has been evolving (with every delayed release) to mimic the Mac OS. With Macs now shipping with Intel chips as a standard, and the ability to run Windows natively on a Mac, the lines become very blurred. I don't think anyone will be able to say that there is software that they need, that they can't get on a mac. Honeslty, I think that there will be a bunch of people who will try the Mac OS, realise how hassle free it is and switch. But, to echo one of your points Ken, this is a debate that will never come to an end. It's kind of like the diehard Chevy guy who will never, ever buy a Ford. It's just fun to debate every once in a while.
